Poem, Prose & Image
Poem, Prose & Image: Lines and Form.
A book of poems, prose and images of sculptures by Richard Purinton.
This book features his poems with short pieces of prose. Purinton also
enjoys creating metal sculpture and displays it around his yard for
personal amusement. Images of his sculpture are included in this book.
Like metal sculpture welded from scrap found here and there, his poems
are combined and shaped into something a reader may also enjoy.
Washington Island heavily influences Purinton's creativity in both
writing and metal sculpture, but entries that appear in Poem, Prose &
Image can often be seen as representative of a broader world.
